Santiago by bike is a long route via Chartres and Tours (bicyle route V41) which takes you down minor roads with little traffic and green pathways. This entirely signposted Jacobean route is greatly appreciated by cyclists thanks to its gentle slopes and calm roads, for the most part paved.
